Nudjed Takes On Public Health


We’ve got some exciting news to share! We recently won a contract with the NHS to deliver a three-year project aimed at improving the activity levels of women aged 14-40 in the Heads of the Valleys.

The project will include a specialist website, tailored digital comms campaign, multimedia content and local advertising, engagement events, collaboration with NHS departments, and evaluation using Nudjed’s unique surveying tools.

We’ll be undertaking research to plan the project over the coming weeks, with the launch scheduled for early 2016. Some interesting facts that are influencing our planning:

  • The NHS recommends that each person should complete 150 minutes of moderate exercise, or 75 minutes of vigorous exercise, per week.
  • Work and family are key drivers for our target demographic, both because they limit the amount of free time people have, and because many women want to be healthier for their children’s sake.
  • Our recent project with Run 4 Wales, the 100 Club, has taught us a lot that we’ll be able to apply to this campaign. Watch out for our new white paper on this coming soon!
