Hello, dear reader, and welcome to The Startup Starter Kit!
Here at Nudjed, we put a lot of time and effort into researching different strategies to make sure that our business venture launch was as successful as possible.
This has worked out pretty well for us so far – we recently secured £125k investment from Finance Wales, and another £90,000 of external investment. We are also set to roll out a pilot partnership scheme with Superdrug over the next few weeks, and have developed several other important B2B relationships. We’ve also made our fair share of mistakes, which have helped us to learn a lot and adapt our strategy.
We know how hard it can be to build a business from scratch, especially when you’re operating outside of the established tech hubs such as Silicon Valley, London, and Tel Aviv, and without the help of a startup accelerator programme. That’s why we’ve decided to share our knowledge and experience here, for other entrepreneurs to use, learn from and build on.
Over the following weeks, we will be publishing a series of blog entries detailing how we created our own path to success, and how you can do the same.
We’ll also be making available copies of the resources we use, which may help you, including:
– our staff handbook
– content sharing guidelines
– contract and job description templates
and other supporting documents that will help you to build and run your business.
We’ll be discussing how to create an investor network, the importance of preparation, finding sales targets, and running a successful seed round, amongst many other things.
